Comfort Keepers Orangeville is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident on the phone, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and have a strong ability to build relationships with both employees and clients while managing the schedules for PSWs and clients. Comfort Keepers is a leading in‑home care provider supporting seniors and adults who require assistance or companionship to live comfortably and safely in their own homes.

Position

Details
  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • On‑Call: Rotational weekends and statutory holidays
  • Location: In-office, Orangeville, Ontario
  • Salary: $43,000 – $45,000 annually (flexible based on experience)
  • Benefits: Available after three (3) months of employment
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage scheduling of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for private client homes and government‑funded cluster sites
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries, changes, and staff call‑offs
  • Ensure accurate, timely schedules and secure appropriate coverage to meet client care needs
  • Collaborate with clients, families, care coordinators, administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in the rotational after‑hours on‑call schedule to support urgent client and employee matters
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new employees
  • Utilize scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools to manage schedules and communication
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
What You Bring
  • Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience, preferably in a health care environment
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service and professional phone presence
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/ERP systems (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under time pressure
  • Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
