Comfort Keepers Orangeville is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident on the phone, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and have a strong ability to build relationships with both employees and clients while managing the schedules for PSWs and clients. Comfort Keepers is a leading in‑home care provider supporting seniors and adults who require assistance or companionship to live comfortably and safely in their own homes.
PositionDetails
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- On‑Call: Rotational weekends and statutory holidays
- Location: In-office, Orangeville, Ontario
- Salary: $43,000 – $45,000 annually (flexible based on experience)
- Benefits: Available after three (3) months of employment
- Lead and manage scheduling of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for private client homes and government‑funded cluster sites
- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries, changes, and staff call‑offs
- Ensure accurate, timely schedules and secure appropriate coverage to meet client care needs
- Collaborate with clients, families, care coordinators, administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in the rotational after‑hours on‑call schedule to support urgent client and employee matters
- Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new employees
- Utilize scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools to manage schedules and communication
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
- Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience, preferably in a health care environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
- Exceptional customer service and professional phone presence
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/ERP systems (or ability to learn quickly)
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under time pressure
- Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
