Senior Accountant; Manufacturing

Overview

Seeking tenacious accounting professional with manufacturing industry experience to join a growing manufacturing company as a Cost Analyst/Cost Accountant. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accountant who is excited to dig into detail, while helping drive organizational change by supporting high level decision making. This role reports directly into a warm and knowledgeable Finance Manager, working alongside a robust accounting and finance team.

As the best fit, you should have manufacturing/cost accounting experience, related Bachelor’s degree, be a strong Excel user, and enjoy digging into data and presenting findings to leadership.

Compensation: $95, base DOE

Benefits: 3% 401k match, 3+ weeks PTO, 8 holidays (grows) Multiple M/D/V options including low-cost premiums, Company HSA Contribution

Mainly on site, with some hybrid flexibility in Oregon City area.

• Ownership for reviewing RFPs, shop rates, utilization, reviewing work orders
• Respond to requests to build out ad hoc costs report
• Primarily Actual Cost based on ERP capabilities, but some parts (high volume lower cost parts) are at weighted cost. Possibility to shift fully to weighted cost when they implement new ERP in 2026
• Supporting business unit leaders heavily.
• High visibility to CFO and CEO, likely speak to financial results and answer questions day to day

• 5+/- years of overarching experience, all Accounting or Accounting and finance
• Manufacturing experience required, including specific cost accounting experience
• Must be able to use Power Pivot, Power BI, dig into data that doesn t come in the best format.
• Not stuck behind a spreadsheet, someone who will go out and work with the managers and who can converse with a variety of people.
• Ready and willing to work with folks on the manufacturing floor
• Willingness to learn existing systems while also making suggestions for improvement.
