Clackamas County's Public Health Division is seeking an experienced, analytical, and collaborative Financial Analyst to serve as a trusted strategic financial advisor for a diverse portfolio of Public Health programs.
Working closely with program managers and division leadership, this position provides financial guidance that supports informed decision-making, responsible stewardship of public funds, and the long‑term financial sustainability of Public Health programs. The Financial Analyst partners with leaders to develop and monitor complex budgets, forecast revenues and expenditures, evaluate funding strategies, ensure compliance with state, federal, and grant requirements, and identify financial risks and opportunities.
Beyond financial management, this position helps shape strategic initiatives by translating complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations, improving financial systems and reporting processes, and supporting data‑informed decisions across the division.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys partnering with others, building collaborative relationships, and using financial expertise to influence strategy, improve operations, and help programs achieve their goals.
