AboutThe Role
As a Product Manager at Point Click Care , you are responsible for the successful delivery of products and functionality that create compelling value for our users and customers and drive strategic growth for the company. In the Product Manager – Platform Services role, you will lead key platform areas such as Automated Task Management, Schedule Management, and Workflow Orchestration. Your efforts help streamline clinical and administrative workflows, bringing efficiencies across our entire customer base.
You collaborate closely with engineering and maintain a healthy backlog, and drive execution and delivery of shared platform services to ensure overall success across the entire product portfolio. You contribute to the product roadmap and effortlessly handle both tactical and strategic work for your product area. You are comfortable interacting with external users and work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to innovate and solve customer problems.
You are data and insight driven, collaborative, and approach your work with natural curiosity and a growth mindset to maximize ROI for your products.
- Understand company strategy and how it connects to the strategy of your product areas.
- Become the product expert for your areas of responsibility, including product functionality and how the product creates value for the customer and user.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to a scrum team inclusive of engineering and UX, partnering with engineering leads to manage ceremonies associated with product delivery.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts to support engineering teams in delivering on product priorities.
- Continuously assess ways to improve products and services.
- Identify, communicate, and bring the right people together to manage risks timely and effectively.
- Engage with User Experience, Engineering, Technical Writers, and other product managers, leveraging modern agile processes and Design Thinking and ensure concepts are valuable and feasible.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a healthcare-related field of study.
- 3+ years of experience in a product management function.
- Experience working on platform products, APIs, and shared services is preferred.
- Experience with tools and technologies for task and schedule automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services related to automation and workflow orchestration.
