Position Overview

The Clackamas County Circuit Court is hiring an Information Technology Associate.

In this role, you will provide a wide range of technical support services to our judges, staff, and court technology systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support services to judges, staff, and court technology systems.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve user concerns at all levels and elevate problems when appropriate.
  • Help image, configure, deploy, and test equipment.
  • Provide system maintenance such as sandbox testing, Windows updates, patch management, application updates, driver and BIOS updates, physical maintenance, hardware updates, and lifecycle replacements.
  • Plan, configure, and install workstations, displays, servers, printers, applications, and courtroom A/V equipment.
  • Develop and present training programs to judges and court staff.
  • Respond to software, hardware, communication, and data issues.
  • Schedule and submit batch production jobs, monitor batch processing, help field test new software and hardware, and monitor the general health of PC workstations, A/V equipment, servers, and court equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, group policies, vulnerability, network security, and server access control.
  • Provide support in VoIP, iOS, and server backup.
  • Document instructions and procedures, develop knowledge articles, and work on individual and large‑scale projects.
  • Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management, public administration, or a related field AND at least three (3) years of technical experience in the duties and infrastructure support required for the position.
  • OR Any combination of education and experience equivalent to seven (7) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Special Qualifications
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Requested Skills and Attributes
  • Experience identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Experience providing customer service and communicating technical issues in person, over the phone, by email, and over chat to people with differing computer skill levels.
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting A/V equipment.
  • Experience managing a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment including, but not limited to, desktop and laptop maintenance, peripherals, and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Experience installing and configuring Windows OS in a business setting.
  • Experience with Windows Server.
  • Experience with Active Directory (preferred).
  • Experience with Group Policy (preferred).
  • Experience managing iOS devices in an enterprise environment (preferred).
Benefits

  • Hourly equivalent $44.79 – $69.48; annual salary $93,160 – $144,513.

Employment Eligibility

OJD does not offer visa sponsorship. Within three days of hire, you will be required to complete the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s I‑9 form confirming authorization to work in the United States. OJD will use E‑Verify to confirm you are authorized to work in the United States.

Work Conditions

This is a full‑time position. The work schedule typically is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, but the schedule may be adjusted to fit the court’s needs. The position is FLSA‑exempt and ineligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek. Occasional scheduled and unscheduled work hours may be required, including early‑morning or after‑hours work during the week and/or work on one or both weekend days.
