Annual Pay Range: $ - $
Hourly Pay Range: $58.79 - $79.37
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience directly relevant to the position.
- Generous Paid Time Off: 16 hours of vacation accrual per month, 8 hours of sick accrual per month, 10 paid holidays and 1 personal day per year.

In this role, you will oversee the Operations Division, leading the agency’s training/quality assurance and communications staff. You will guide, support, and mentor supervisors and staff, partner with the Technical Services Manager, and represent C‑COM in regional meetings.
Responsibilities include core operational functions of the center, managing a 47‑FTE team, implementing policies, contributing to budget recommendations, preparing operational reports, and serving on the bargaining team and labor‑management committee.
RequiredMinimum Qualifications /Transferable Skills
- Minimum six (6) years of recent experience in a public safety dispatch environment.
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in a 24/7 environment.
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience that may include dispatcher, lead worker, or supervisor roles.
- Experience in a unionized environment.
- Experience in a consolidated multidisciplinary communications center.
- Budget experience in a public sector/governmental organization.
- Experience in collective bargaining negotiations.
- Experience collaborating with external agencies such as a public safety member board.
- Middle Management certification issued by the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST).
- Must be available for 24‑hour on‑call response to emergency situations.
- Must pass an extensive background investigation, including national or state fingerprint records check.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Within three (3) months of hire:
Possession of Law Enforcement Data System (L.E.D.S.) certification. - Veterans: explain skills/qualifications related to the position in the application.
