Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology - Oregon City, OR

- Location: Oregon City, OR (1500 Division Street, zip 97045)
- Start Date: 07/07/2026
- Duration: Ongoing, with scheduled shifts through August and beyond
- Shift: 7am-7am (Willamette site); 5am-5am (Newberg site) - partial in-house for 6-8 hours, rest as night call
- Hours/Week: Approximately 10 shifts per month, 8 hours guaranteed per shift
- Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
- Licensure & Certifications: Active Oregon RN license, DEA, BC Board Certification, BLS, NRP, & Stable required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of neonatal case logs, proficiency in intubation, UVC, needle pneumothorax, and x-ray interpretation
- Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (as listed)

- Provide neonatal urgent care including resuscitation, stabilization, and rounding
- Manage newborn procedures such as intubation, UVC placement, and thoracentesis
- Interpret X-rays and perform EKGs as needed
- Participate in on-call duties on a beeper schedule, within 30 minutes of the hospital
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care
- Document all clinical activities accurately to maintain credentialing and case logs
- Contribute to a team providing around-the-clock neonatal care
Required:
- Active Oregon licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- DEA certification
- BC in Neonatal Care or Pediatric Specialty
- BLS, NRP, & Stable certifications
- Minimum 2 years neonatal case logs with intubation, UVC, pneumothorax, and X-ray skills
- Skills in lumbar puncture, EKG interpretation, and circumcision procedures
- Resuscitation and newborn rounding experience
