CNA - Float Pool

Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Float Pool at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is a 0.9 FTE position covering day and night shifts. The schedule consists of three 12‑hour shifts one week followed by two 12‑hour shifts the next week, with alternate Friday and Saturday nights included.

• Day: 6:45 am – 7:15 pm

• Night: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am

• Contribute to a high‑functioning team.
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.

• Experience in a hospital or long‑term care setting.
