We are hiring a
Retail Security Guard
to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.

• Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity
• Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic
• Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation
• Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times

• Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols
• Inspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues, etc.)
• Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements

• Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner
• Provide directions and support as needed
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence on-site

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
• State Guard license is required

• Prior security or customer-facing experience
• Familiarity with CCTV, alarms, or access control systems

• High level of attentiveness and situational awareness
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency

• Arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work
• Stay engaged and proactive throughout your shift
• Follow all safety, training, and compliance requirements

Duties may vary based on site needs. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

Guard Card, DL, SS card Be able to write reports. Great customer service skills, CCTV uploaded video and Picture to reports.

Prior Security experience/

De-escalation with experience in retail security.
