CDL A Truck Driver

Role Description

This is a full-time on the road role for a CDL class A Company truck driver at TGR Logistics located in Oregon City, OR. The truck driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short and long distances, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, maintaining accurate driving logs, and ensuring timely deliveries.

• CDL A license and clean driving record with indication of MEC expiration date
• Experience in commercial truck driving no less than 2 years
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in compliance of FMCSA
• Ability to operate and maintain vehicles
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Physical fitness and stamina for long drives
• Experience with loading and unloading goods, secure cargo fastening
• Pass a
  DOT physical with a certified medical examiner and obtain a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (
  MEC
  ), Form MCSA‑5876
• Consent to aMotor Vehicle Record (MVR)check; serious violations (DUI, major speeding, reckless driving, out‑of‑service orders) can disqualify you or limit employability
• Participate in the DOT drug and alcohol testing program: negative pre‑employment test, and then random, post‑accident, and reasonable‑suspicion tests as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be legally present in the U.S. and able to show proof of
  citizenship or lawful status
• Age minimums: 18+ for intrastate only (in-state), 21+ to run interstate
