Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: North Portland, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (100% onsite)
Compensation: $25–$30/hour (DOE)
A well-established manufacturing and distribution company in North Portland is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting team during a period of transition and growth. This is a confidential search due to internal changes, including leadership restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable Specialist
- Perform full-cycle accounts payable processing
- Review and process 10–20 invoices per day
- Execute 3-way matching (PO, invoice, receiving)
- Generate invoices from purchase orders
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process recurring expenses including rent and utilities
- Ensure accurate GL coding and use of account numbers
- Support additional accounting tasks as needed
Accounts Payable Specialist
- Solid understanding of debits and credits
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Collaborative but self-sufficient
- Comfortable with change and ambiguity
