Accountant, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk, Financial Reporting

Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time accountant to support the bookkeeping and accounting needs of multiple locations within the Portland metro area. This role involves on-site work, local travel, and some hybrid schedule flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle weekly, monthly, and quarterly bookkeeping for multiple locations
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and fixed asset tracking
• Prepare 1099s and coordinate W-2 corrections
• Support internal controls and light HR duties, including benefits and personnel files

Qualifications

• 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Degree in accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in Quick Books and payroll processing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
