Staff Accountant
We are seeking a staff accountant to join our team. The prospective candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. The role demands robust knowledge of accounts payable (AP), bank reconciliations, debits and credits, and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations regularly and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare journal entries as required, ensuring all business transactions are recorded.
- Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain detailed and organized financial records.
- Assist in the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as required.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Assist with the company's tax compliance and strategy.
