About

the Role

This position serves as a critical support resource for Compliance, Operations, Inventory, and Administration. You'll help ensure records remain accurate, documentation is audit-ready, compliance requirements are met, and operational information is organized and accessible.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order from complexity, thrives on accuracy, and takes pride in being the person others can rely on to keep important details from falling through the cracks.

What You'll Do

You will assist with maintaining compliance programs, regulatory documentation, licensing support, compliance calendars, SOP updates, and audit preparation. You will help ensure records are organized, current, and readily available for inspections and internal review.

You will support inventory and compliance tracking activities, including reconciliations, documentation reviews, audits, and inventory-related reporting. Accuracy is critical, and you will play an important role in maintaining data integrity and supporting regulatory compliance.

You will also provide operational and administrative support by maintaining reports and trackers, coordinating meetings, supporting purchasing activities, organizing documentation, and assisting managers and leadership with various projects and initiatives.

Additionally, you will assist with financial administration activities including cash counts, reconciliations, deposit documentation, invoice tracking, expense reporting, and maintaining supporting financial records.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate enjoys working with detailed information, can manage multiple priorities, and understands the importance of accuracy and follow-through.

Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Candidates should be comfortable learning and navigating business software platforms, maintaining spreadsheets, and managing electronic records.

Experience with METRC is preferred, and cannabis industry experience is a plus. Familiarity with compliance programs, inventory management, audits, inspections, licensing, or operational administration is highly desirable.

This position may require longer hours during harvest season and will include farm compliance support as needed. The right candidate should be flexible, dependable, and comfortable supporting changing operational needs during peak production periods.

You should also be comfortable using standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and other administrative tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting compliance, operations, inventory, administration, or finance functions
  • Experience with METRC or similar inventory/compliance systems
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of responsibilities

The right person will be proactive, detail-oriented, solution-focused, and motivated by helping the business operate efficiently and compliantly.
