Full Time, Salaried, Non-exempt.

Position Summary

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative assistance requiring independent initiative and overall knowledge of the organization's operations and responsibilities. May direct and/or coordinate the work of other clerical support.

Requirements
  • Education: Two years of college or technical education required and/or college degree preferred. Education requirements may be waived based on qualified experience and skill levels.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, preferred. Experience working for/with executive-level staff members required. Previous experience providing support to upper management and related skills required for an education waiver. Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.

    Skills:

    Must be able to work with little or no supervision and make good decisions. Excellent administrative, organizational, composition, spelling, and punctuation skills are critical. Proficient computer skills. Must be able to draft reports, letters, minutes, budgets, and other materials with minimal supervision. Must be personable, work well with others, respect employees' privacy rights, follow the LHD Code of Conduct and all policies including HIPAA.

    Must have a positive attitude, multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

  • Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
  • Successful completion of a 500‑hour probationary period.
  • Criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.
