Employees approved to work remotely must have a reliable and secure internet connection and maintain a professional work environment that supports productivity. While working remotely, employees are expected to maintain the same level of performance, responsiveness, communication, and availability as they would in the office.

What you will do!

You will administer and oversee Oregon's statewide school facility assessment program by developing and managing contracts with third-party assessors, establishing and maintaining facility assessment standards, ensuring the quality and integrity of facility data, and leveraging assessment information to inform statewide policy, funding decisions, and strategic planning related to school facilities. There are many opportunities for cross training within the team, and the team regularly interacts with other offices in ODE, as well as the legislature and school districts. This position is unique because it is working with the first ever statewide school facilities assessment in the history of the State of Oregon.
