Senior Automotive Technician; 2nd Shift

Overview

We're looking for automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest‑growing used‑car retailer in U.S. history.

• Perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work and diagnostics.
• Carry out general to complex repairs on all makes and models, from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy‑engine work.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as climate‑control systems such as ACs and heater cores.
• Work mandatory overtime when business needs dictate.

Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

• Minimum 3years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Physical ability to operate vehicle equipment and lift up to 60pounds independently.
• At least 18years of age with a valid driver’s license (MVR check may apply).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment; exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat/cold) is possible.
• Required use of safety equipment such as face shield/goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Background check required.

Entry‑Level Auto Technician (minimum 6months experience) and Brake and Tire Technician (minimum 1year experience) – various other automotive positions are available across our inspection centers.
