The City of Junction City is seeking energetic and dependable individuals to serve as Spring Break Day Camp Leaders at the Junction City Community Center. This temporary position provides a rewarding opportunity to positively impact youth in grades K–5 through fun, engaging, and well‑organized activities during Spring Break. Day Camp Leaders provide direct supervision and leadership to campers, lead games, sports, crafts, special events, and field trips, and help plan daily schedules and activities.

Leaders are also responsible for camper safety, attendance and check‑in/check‑out procedures, incident reporting, and maintaining clean and organized activity areas. This role may include guiding and supporting other camp staff.

• Emphasis on positive youth development and inclusive programming
• Fun, fast‑paced environment with meaningful work

• High school diploma required (college coursework preferred)
• At least one year of experience working with children preferred
• Ability to model enthusiasm, patience, and good judgment
• Must pass a criminal background check
• First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification required
