Jr. Sales Estimator, PM

We are seeking a Jr. Sales Estimator to join our dynamic estimating team. This entry-level role is designed for a driven, detail-oriented individual looking to start or grow a career in the pavement services industry. The Jr. Sales Estimator will work closely with our Senior Estimators, learning the ins and outs of asphalt paving, seal coating, line striping, and related services while providing administrative and field support for bids and proposals.

This is a great opportunity for someone eager to build technical knowledge, develop customer service skills, and gain valuable field exposure under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

• Assist Senior Estimators in gathering and organizing project information.
• Conduct site visits with the estimating team to document project scopes.
• Learn to perform basic takeoffs and quantity measurements from blueprints or site conditions.
• Prepare and review preliminary estimates for accuracy and completeness.
• Help manage bid tracking, follow-ups, and customer communications.
• Support the creation of proposals and pricing sheets.
• Maintain organized documentation and databases for estimating workflows.

• Technical knowledge of pavement systems, including asphalt repairs, seal coating techniques, parking lot layouts, and ADA compliance.
• Estimating software and tools used in the construction and paving industry.
• Best practices in customer engagement and proposal development.
• Field exposure to ongoing jobs and production scheduling.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus).
• Interest in construction, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in both office and outdoor environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software is a plus.

We are based out of our Sherwood HQ location, but our service coverage area is predominately the Portland/Vancouver Metro area.
