Intuitive Safety Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced Project Safety Coordinator to support a heavy civil infrastructure project in Oxbow, Oregon. This role is a consulting engagement embedded within the client’s project team, providing hands‑on safety leadership, field‑level risk management support, and regulatory guidance
in a dynamic construction environment.
The selected consultant will serve as a key safety resource, working directly with project leadership, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to drive proactive hazard identification, strengthen the safety culture, and ensure consistent execution of safety standards across the project. This role requires strong field credibility, professional judgment, and the ability to influence outcomes. through collaboration, communication, and leadership presence rather than direct authority.
Key Responsibilities Client-Facing Safety Leadership- Serve as an ISS safety consultant supporting the client’s project safety program and operational objectives.
- Interface professionally with client representatives, project leadership, contractors, and trade partners to reinforce safety expectations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Represent ISS with professionalism and credibility in all fields and stakeholder interactions.
- Provide daily onsite safety coordination and proactive engagement with field teams.
- Perform safety observations, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
- Support project teams in developing practical, field‑ready solutions to manage risk.
- Assist with the implementation and execution of project safety programs aligned with regulatory and client‑specific requirements.
- Support interpretation of OSHA standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participate in risk assessments and hazard analysis activities.
- Support incident and near‑miss reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Assist with the development and tracking of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons‑learned integration.
- Assist with site safety orientations and ongoing safety training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and support reporting requirements.
- Ensure safety records and compliance tracking are maintained in required systems.
Full‑time consulting assignment located onsite in Oxbow, Oregon.
Remote project location with limited connectivity outside project‑provided systems.
Project duration is anticipated through approximately April 2026, with potential extension based on project needs.
Work schedule may include nights and weekends, depending on the construction phase.
- Compensation range:
Target pay rate is $45-50/hour, depending on experience, certifications, and engagement structure. - Medical, dental, and vision benefits available.

- Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience supporting field operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in client‑facing consulting roles or multi‑employer construction environments.
- Strong working knowledge of construction safety regulations and risk management practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
- Ability to pass required drug screening and background check.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- OSHA 30 outreach construction card and/or safety certification from an accredited organizations (i.e. BCSP, IHMM, etc.)
- Heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial, or high‑risk construction experience.
