Join a dynamic and growing team as a Structural Construction Field Crew Lead, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects in the wireless telecommunications and structural building sectors. Responsibilities- Lead and supervise field crews in the erection, assembly, and welding of structural buildings and wireless cell towers.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, including daily jobsite safety inspections and equipment checks.
- Coordinate daily activities, delegate assignments based on crew proficiency, and ensure all team members understand their tasks.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and project documentation to guide construction activities and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee the use and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and tools, ensuring readiness and safety at all times.
- Verify materials, parts, and supplies are accounted for and properly loaded before deployment to jobsites.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, timesheets, inspection reports, and project photos.
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement among crew members.
- Attend and maintain certifications in safety and equipment operation as required.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience; experience in telecommunications construction is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Experience with equipment rigging, hoisting, and operation of construction equipment (e.g., man-lifts, forklifts, trucks).
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1 welding codes and procedures for structural steel welding.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate crews, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, employees, and clients.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, at heights, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
$70,000–$100,000 annual salary
