Superintendent - Public Works

We are a commercial General Contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee our projects in Boring/Portland area. Many of our projects are public works projects, so we'd love to bring in some additional field expertise in that area. If you can help us ensure these projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, we'd love to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial tenant improvements and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites for commercial construction projects, including a lot of commercial TI/Public Works projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers to ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Some travel to job sites may be required (Per-diem and company vehicle provided)

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in public works and commercial tenant improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
