Job Title:

Junior Video Editor

Location:

White City, ORJob Type: Full-time (onsite)

Job Summary:

Drip Depot makes educational videos that help farmers & gardeners understand how to better water and care for their plants with irrigation systems. These videos range from short tutorials that are a few minutes in duration to expansive 20-30 minute guides. The Junior Video Editor is responsible for preparing and editing the majority of our video content. You will move projects from the initial stages through to the fine cut, typically keeping about 10 projects moving r work provides the foundation that the Senior Editor uses for final polish and finishing.

The final product is uploaded for our website and You Tube channel weekly.

What You Will DoThe Workflow:
You will follow our established editing process of logging, assembly, rough cut, and fine cut. This role requires comfort with shifting between projects based on priority and dependencies, so flexibility and adaptability when roadblocks arise are essential.

Use the Library:
We have an extensive library of templates, sequences, footage from past projects, and graphics.. You will primarily draw from these existing assets rather than build new ones to keep our brand consistent.

Prioritize Clarity:
Irrigation is a technical topic. Your objective is to make every video easy for a beginner to understand.

File Management:
You will follow strict naming and organization rules so we can reuse footage across different projects for years.

The Growth Path We want you to master the Drip Depot brand voice and our internal system first. As the company grows and you prove you can handle the volume of work, there will be opportunities to take on more creative tasks, such as helping to evolve our visual brand or pitching new ideas.

Technical Capability:
You are proficient and efficient in Premiere Pro, with a strong familiarity with keyboard shortcuts and a willingness to adopt new ones as needed.

Communication:
You're able to convey visual asset needs synchronously or asynchronously, depending on urgency, and you consistently document edit to-dos in Frame.io to support smooth collaboration with the Senior Editor.

Focus:
You enjoy an organized, predictable workflow and a quiet office environment.

Reliability:
You can stay on top of multiple deadlines without letting the details slip.
