Join our team as a Temporary Dental Hygienist, providing essential oral health services in a community‑focused health center.
Responsibilities- Maintaining and updating patient records and vital signs
- Performing X‑ray procedures and storing images
- Conducting periodontal charting and assisting with exams
- Providing preventative care, restorations, and administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
- Offering oral hygiene education and supporting infection control
- Participating in dental education programs and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
- Performing other clinical duties as assigned
- Graduate of a Dental Hygiene program with an active Oregon State license
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of dental practices, anesthesia, and restorative procedures
- Proficiency with electronic records, Microsoft Office, and excellent patient interaction skills
