Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Relief - Part Time

Join our team as a Relief Expanded Function Dental Assistant, providing essential support in a community health setting.

• Maintaining patient records and updating medical histories
• Performing complete X-ray procedures and managing digital storage
• Assisting with periodontal charting, instrument setup, and preparing materials
• Delivering preventative care such as fluoride treatments and sealants
• Providing oral hygiene education and participating in infection control protocols
• Supporting orthodontic procedures and managing department workflow as a Lead
• Performing additional duties as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare standards

• High school diploma or GED
• EFDA certification within 90 days of employment
• BLS certification within 90 days
• Preferred bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and registration as a Surgical Technologist
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and electronic dental records
• Manual dexterity and professional interaction skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental record systems
