Job DescriptionUnder the authority of the Médecin Coordonnateur Responsable du Service de PMI, the Médecin de PMI implements the departmental policy of maternal and child protection in their intervention territory. They supervise the coordination and evaluation of the activity as the administrative and technical responsible of a multi-professional team within a PMI structure. They carry out missions defined in the code of public health.
- Supervise and animate an administrative and medico-social team
- Coordinate the actions of the PMI
- Ensure confidentiality and respect for medical secrecy
- Evaluate the supervised agents and set objectives
- Adapt and update the daily schedule of team activities
- Carry out general or specialized medical consultations
- Carry out consultations in infant medicine and family planning
- Perform health assessments of preschool children
- Provide legal prenatal and postnatal consultations
- Participate in the approval and follow-up of different modes of reception for young children
- Organize medico-social prevention
- Participate in the prevention of child abuse and care for abused minors
- Represent the PMI or family planning center in meetings
- Implement decisions related to the management of human, financial, and logistical resources
- Provide technical support to the medico-social team
- Participate in the development of health policy orientations
- Implement and evaluate prevention actions
- Evaluate the health status and degree of autonomy of vulnerable individuals
Profile Sought- Open to the territorial employment framework of Territorial Doctors
- State diploma of Doctor of Medicine
- Knowledge of the regulatory and legislative framework of child protection
- Mastery of the regulatory and legislative framework of social and medico-social aid

Article L332-8 disposition 2 of the general public service code - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no application from a civil servant has been received. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
