This is an opportunity to work on fewer, better projects — not high volume, not speculative, and not production-driven. The firm designs and delivers $10–25MM fully custom homes, where architectural intent, structural logic, and buildability are aligned from day one. We are seeking an Architect or Senior Architectural Designer to join our Missoula-based team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a custom residential environment, is fluent in Revit, and brings strong structural awareness to their design work. You will play a key role in developing and delivering complex custom homes, coordinating closely with structural engineers, consultants, and builders throughout the design process.

• Lead and contribute to projects through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents
• Develop and maintain high-quality Revit models and drawing sets
• Coordinate architectural intent with structural, civil, and MEP consultants
• Apply strong structural understanding to inform layout, spans, systems, and constructability
• Collaborate closely with builders to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and buildable
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions
• Maintain a high level of technical accuracy and attention to detail

• Registered Architects (RA / NCARB) with custom residential experience
• Senior Architectural Designers with deep technical capability and Revit mastery
• Designers who enjoy thinking through structure, not just aesthetics
• Candidates coming from:
  High-end residential firms;
  Design-build environments;
  Boutique architecture studios with complex custom work
• Local candidates in Missoula are strongly preferred, but relocation is considered for exceptional candidates who are aligned with the lifestyle and long-term opportunity.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Experience delivering detailed construction document sets
• Strong understanding of structural systems and coordination
• Experience working on custom residential projects
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Registered Architect (RA) / NCARB
• Experience with luxury or high-end residential projects
• Comfort working directly with builders and clients
• Familiarity with Mountain West or similar regional construction
