Bear Staffing is partnering with an industry-leading manufacturer of modular buildings and temporary space solutions to identify a skilled CADD Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Aumsville, Oregon. Position OverviewThe CADD Operator is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings that support product development, sales, operations, and customer projects. This position produces floor plans, elevations, renderings, as-built drawings, and construction details while ensuring compliance with company standards, ADA requirements, and applicable building codes.
Key Responsibilities- Create, revise, and maintain floor plans, elevations, as-built drawings, and detailed construction documents.
- Support internal sales teams and external customers by producing accurate custom drawing requests and design modifications.
- Develop and maintain standard drawings for modular buildings, including ramps, foundations, piers, steps, and other standard product offerings.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to prepare technical drawings, layouts, renderings, and project documentation.
- Produce renderings and isometric drawings for customer presentations and marketing initiatives.
- Generate furniture layouts and interior partition plans for value-added product offerings.
- Interpret and apply building codes, ADA requirements, and company drafting standards.
- Maintain organized drawing libraries and technical documentation.
- Prioritize multiple drafting requests while communicating project status and completion timelines to internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical drafting support to internal departments as needed.
Working knowledge of Revit required. Basic to intermediate experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Architecture preferred. Associate degree in CAD Drafting, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred. 1–3 years of drafting experience in construction, architectural, manufacturing, or modular building environments preferred. Experience with modular construction, wood-framed structures, architectural millwork, or field construction is a plus. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment. Willingness to learn company drafting standards, ADA requirements, and applicable building codes.
