The department boasts a substantial capacity, with 525 beds available for patient care. Patients per shift average between 10 to 12, allowing for focused attention and quality care delivery. Board certification is a prerequisite for this position, ensuring a high standard of care delivery. While fellowship is not mandatory, eligibility for board certification is essential. Certification requirements include Basic Life Support (BLS), reflecting the commitment to patient safety and emergency response.

The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system, streamlining documentation and enhancing coordination of care. Flexibility is inherent in the practice setting, focusing solely on inpatient care without outpatient requirements. Hospital privileges are not mandatory, simplifying onboarding processes. This opportunity requires candidates to hold an Oregon state medical license exclusively. The estimated credentialing timeframe ranges from 90 to 120 days, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Although Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are not mandatory, BLS certification is necessary. Physicians joining this role will experience a structured work schedule, typically spanning from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. While primarily non-call, occasional weekend coverage may be required, occurring once every 8 weeks for a 24-hour duration. This balanced schedule ensures consistent coverage while prioritizing provider well-being.
