About the Position
Join Our Team as a Family Practice Physician – Make a Difference in Patient Care
Are you a dedicated Family Practice Physician seeking a rewarding opportunity to serve a diverse patient population? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled physician to join our team, providing comprehensive outpatient care with an emphasis on women’s health and obstetrics. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing your full range of skills to impact lives positively while enjoying flexible scheduling options.
The ideal candidate will have OB experience, including deliveries and outpatient procedures, and be comfortable managing patients of all ages. Your expertise will support a busy clinic, seeing 16-18 patients daily, with a focus on delivering high-quality care across a variety of services. You will work alongside MDs, DOs, and NPs within a supportive team dedicated to patient wellness and provider success.
Required
Skills and Qualifications
Valid medical license with DEA (preferred at submission)
OB experience, including deliveries and outpatient procedures (IUDs, Nexplanons, biopsies, colposcopies, casting)
Demonstrated competence in C-section deliveries (minimum of 30 completed births) and prenatal care
ACLS and NRP certifications
Ability to manage a diverse patient demographic across all ages
Strong clinical skills with proficiency in Cerner Community Works EMR system
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills
OB experience with surgical obstetrics preferred
Experience with inpatient OB call responsibilities (1:3)
Women’s health expertise, including prenatal care and deliveries
Additional procedural skills such as suturing, joint injections, and nail removals
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills are a plus
Preferred
Education and Experience
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Active Oregon medical license and DEA (highly preferred)
Minimum of 3-6 months for credentialing, with references provided (minimum of
3)
Prior experience in outpatient family and women’s health, especially OB, is preferred
Other Requirements
Willingness to work 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, with possible extension based on needs
Inpatient OB call duty at a 1:3 ratio
Ability to obtain necessary vaccinations and fulfill compliance requirements
Travel reimbursement and local mileage coverage available for eligible candidates
