This facility requires emergent neurosurgical coverage following the pending resignation of a full-time neurosurgeon. The facility maintains the equipment and support systems necessary to deliver neurosurgical services on an on-site basis. APP support is available to assist the covering neurosurgeon during assigned call periods.

Oregon offers diverse recreational opportunities including regional attractions, outdoor recreation, and year-round activities throughout the state. The area features natural attractions with hiking trails, state parks, and scenic landscapes that provide nature and wildlife viewing opportunities for residents and visitors across different seasons.

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage on a 7a-7a schedule, working approximately 10 days per month. Primary responsibilities include supporting consults, providing ED support, and managing emergent neurosurgical cases with APP support available. The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for documentation throughout all assigned call periods. Emergency privileges are available during the credentialing process.
