Special Education Teacher – Life Skills Program

Creswell School District | 2026–2027 School Year

Creswell School District is hiring a full‑time Special Education Teacher to lead its new Life Skills Program serving middle and high school students with moderate to severe behavioral needs. This is a 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday position beginning August 24, 2026 and running through June 2027.

• Full‑time, 40 hours/week
• 9‑month contract
• Pays $52/hr with a potential increase based on experience
• Lead teacher for a new Life Skills classroom
• Strong support from instructional assistants and district staff
• Students present moderate/severe behavioral and functional needs
• Not a Resource Room position

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education preferred)
• Experience with Life Skills or severe behavioral programs strongly preferred
• CPR, TB screening, and health clearance as required
• Must meet all state, federal, and district requirements
