Willamina School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Full-Time Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year
. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about literacy, critical thinking, and building strong relationships with students during their formative middle school years.

The "Teacher-Coach" Advantage: We are simultaneously seeking leadership for our athletic programs. We have coaching opportunities available. We highly encourage candidates who possess the skills to lead in the classroom and on the field/court to apply for a combined role.

• Academic: Deliver high-quality ELA instruction aligned with Oregon State Standards for grades 6-8.
• Athletic Leadership: (If applicable) Oversee all aspects of the Varsity program, including staff supervision, player development, and community engagement.
• Mentorship: Serve as a consistent role model for student-athletes, emphasizing that "Student" comes first in the student-athlete equation.

• Teaching: Valid Oregon Teaching License with appropriate ELA or Middle Level endorsement.
• Coaching: NFHS/ASEP certification, valid First Aid/CPR, and a proven track and record of leadership (Head Coach experience preferred).
• Character: A commitment to the Willamina community and the ability to collaborate with a dedicated staff.

• Teaching: Competitive salary based on the  Certified Salary Schedule ($53,414 to $108,631).
• Coaching Stipends: Additional stipends provided per the Extra Duty contract.
