Head Cheer Coach - Creswell High School

Creswell School District is seeking a Head Cheer Coach to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell High School for the  school year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• NFHS Coaches Certification, OSAA Certifications (Can be obtained after hiring)
• High School Graduate
• Previous successful coaching experience
• Skills in working positively with adolescents
• Understanding of successful teaching strategies
• Good communication skills
• Successful completion of fingerprint screening
• First Aid CPR training

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach fundamentals of Cheer
• Plan and supervise practices and meets
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel

GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes
• Design practices to build skills and strategies
• Cooperate with CHS faculty and staff
• Oversee high school Cheer program

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• High school teaching experience
• High school varsity Cheer experience

Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
