Creswell School District is seeking Girls Head JV/Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell High School for the  school year.

Position open until filled. Applicant screening begins immediately.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• NFHS Coaches Certification, OSAA Certifications (Can be obtained after hiring)
• High school Graduate
• Previous volleyball experience as a coach or competitor
• Skills in working positively with adolescents
• Good communication skills
• Successful completion of fingerprint screening
• First Aid CPR training

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach fundamentals of volleyball
• Supervise practices and games
• Work cooperatively with other coaches to develop young athletes potential
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel

GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes
• Supervise and coach sub-varsity players in practice and game settings
• Assist the head coach in development of the program

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• Background knowledge of volleyball and teaching
• Familiarity with programs and athletes at Creswell High School

Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
