Job Description
Position Summary:
The Dean of Students develops the programs and processes that support the culture of the school and build an atmosphere of safety and respect among students. Fosters the development and maintenance of a positive learning environment. The Dean of Students supports students in developing positive and effective social behaviors, supports teachers in managing classroom processes and creating effective transitions; and supports parents in communicating their needs and questions and resolving any concerns.
License Requirement:
License Requirements - Must hold or be able to attain one of the following Oregon licenses issued by TSPC:
* Teaching License
* School Social Worker License
* School Counselor License

PLEASE NOTE:
North Clackamas Schools is negotiating the licensed contract for the 26-27 school year. Below is our Annual Salary Range for the 25-26 school year:
* Annual Salary Range ): $58,788- $111,463 (193-Day Contract). Initial placement based on education, experience.
* This salary range reflects 1.0 FTE. Actual salary is prorated based on FTE and start date.
* This position qualifies for an annual approximate Extended Responsibilities Stipend: $3,233 - $4,115.
* Stipend(s) are pro-rated based on 1.0 FTE and start/end dates of position/assignment.
* As a licensed employee, you are eligible to receive:
* A stipend of $2,500 if certified by NBPTS (National Board for Professional Teaching Standards).
* A stipend of $3,000 if you hold a PhD or EdD.
Retirement Contribution:
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position, the employee is required to contribute 6% as their employee portion, via payroll deduction.
Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
