Job Description
Grant School District No. 3, John Day, Oregon is seeking a full‑time licensed School Counselor for Grant Union Jr/Sr High School.
Qualifications- Have or qualify for an Oregon School Counselor License.
- M.Ed. in School Counseling or M.Ed. in Counseling preferred.
- Working knowledge of Oregon’s current Framework for Comprehensive School Counseling Program.
- Integrative counseling approach that implements trauma‑informed practices within a Multi‑Tiered System of Supports.
- Successful experience working with students, parents, and teachers.
- Excellent speaking and writing skills.
- Holds a current First Aid/CPR card or is willing to obtain by hire date.
- Transcripts (copy) – official copy required upon offer.
- Copy of current Oregon Teaching License (front and back).
- Letter of Interest.
- Resume.
- Three Letters of Recommendation.
- Completed District Application.
