Job DescriptionPlan and implement the LitCAMP and MathCAMP curriculum provided by the District and STEAM lessons each afternoon; partnering with PYAC for cross-program collaboration and activity participation. Be responsible for lesson preparation, pre-program classroom set up, and day to day operations. Communicate effectively with parents, cooperating teachers, administration, and custodians. Ensure the classroom is clean and materials are put away after each session.
Record student attendance. Attend 6 field trips throughout the program. Uphold all requirements as a PSD 17J employee.
Oregon Certification as determined by Oregon Teacher Standards & Practices Commission (TSPC).
Positions Available (1 class at each grade level)Incoming KG Teacher (part-time, job share) & 3rd Grade Teacher (full time, job share)
ScheduleCamp Dates:
July 13 - August 21, Monday
- Friday, 4-8 hours/day. (additional planning/prep time before start date)
Paid hourly at Licensed Co-Curricular rate per Licensed Negotiated Agreement.
