Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Resource Teacher to join the team at Table Rock Elementary School. This critical role supports students with disabilities by providing specially designed instruction and services that promote academic, social, and emotional development in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

About the Role

The Special Education Resource Teacher at Table Rock Elementary will evaluate, design, and implement instruction for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. As a key member of the Student Services Team and IEP teams, the teacher will collaborate with general education staff, administrators, families, and specialists to develop and deliver individualized education plans that support student success.

Responsibilities
  • Instructional planning, classroom support, and monitoring student progress.
  • Maintaining all required documentation at a proficient level.
  • Providing training and guidance to instructional assistants.
  • Consulting with staff and families and participating in eligibility determinations.
  • Contributing to school‑based professional development on best practices in special education.
Who We're Looking For
  • Current Oregon Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
  • Strong collaboration, organization, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and effective use of assessment data.
  • Ability to provide differentiated instruction tailored to student needs.
  • Bilingual Spanish candidates encouraged.
  • Experience working with diverse learners, utilizing technology for instruction and documentation, and applying trauma‑informed and inclusive practices.

Benefits

Salary:
No less than $46,548 – $90,846 plus a master’s stipend of $2,327 (depending on approved previous experience and graduate‑level credits). Special Education Teachers receive a Federal Compliance Stipend of $3,000 each year. Salary indicates current 2023‑2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement—subject to change.
