Job Summary
South Umpqua School District is seeking an Instructional Coach to work with administrators and teachers to improve student performance through strength‑based instructional coaching, support for best practices, school‑wide data processes, leadership for professional learning communities, and targeted support for new teachers.
Job GoalWork with administrators and teachers to improve student performance through strength-based instructional coaching, supporting the implementation of best practices, supporting school-wide data processes, leadership for the professional learning community process, and providing targeted support to our newest teachers.
Qualifications- A valid Oregon Teaching License
- Minimum five years of elementary classroom teaching preferred
- Background coaching teachers and supporting the implementation of best practices
- Proven track record of improving student achievement within a classroom or school-wide setting
- Experience providing professional development
- Involvement in or leadership of a highly effective professional learning community
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Salary: $50,303 to $92,103 Per Year (prorated based on FTE).
Insurance: Generous Health, dental, and vision contribution from the district, currently up to $2,090 (based upon family coverage), prorated based on FTE.
