Special Education Teacher
Seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for various positions in a school setting. Positions available include Elementary Developmental, Elementary Behavior, Middle School Resource, Elementary Resource, and Middle School Behavior. The Elementary Developmental position will involve working with 15 students and 6 assistants, focusing on behavioral, autism spectrum, and communication needs. The Elementary Behavior position will support grades 3-5 with 16 students and 5 assistants.
The Middle School Resource role will cater to 40 students with 2 shared assistants. The Elementary Resource position will serve 35 students across two sites, with 1 assistant in each building. The Middle School Behavior role will be responsible for 15 students with 5 assistants. Candidates must possess an active SPED certification/license in Oregon. Professional references are required for consideration.
Candidates must complete a background check, fingerprinting, and state-mandated training. Verification of previous employers where contact with children occurred is necessary.
