This critical role supports students with disabilities by providing specially designed instruction and services that promote academic, social, and emotional development in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Special Education Resource Teacher at Table Rock Elementary will evaluate, design, and implement instruction for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. As a key member of the Student Services Team and IEP teams, the teacher will collaborate with general education staff, administrators, families, and specialists to develop and deliver individualized education plans that support student success.

Responsibilities include instructional planning, classroom support, monitoring student progress, and maintaining all required documentation at a proficient level. The teacher will provide training and guidance to instructional assistants, consult with staff and families, participate in eligibility determinations, and contribute to school-based professional development on best practices in special education.

EPSD9 is seeking an educator with a current Oregon Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration, organization, communication, and leadership skills. Familiarity with IEP processes, effective use of assessment data, and the ability to provide differentiated instruction tailored to student needs are essential.
