Elementary Special Education Teacher (K-5)

Position:
Elementary Special Education Teacher to begin in the 2026-27 school year, located in Riddle School District, Riddle, Oregon. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about student success, enjoy collaboration, and are part of a small school family.

The Special Education Teacher evaluates, designs, and implements all aspects of specifically designed instruction for children with disabilities.

• Competitive salary: $49,401 - $88,652 per year

Riddle is a community-centered setting situated about 25 miles south of Roseburg, with gorgeous mountain views and rivers. Riddle Elementary is a K-5 school serving just under 200 students. We are a team of dedicated professionals focused on providing an outstanding education for our students.

• Applicants must hold a Current Oregon Teaching License.
• Desire and ability to work with a team of professional educators in a small/rural school.
• Familiarity with instructional, assessment, and classroom management strategies that reflect current research and best practices.
• Experience working with diverse groups of learners.
• Knowledge and experience with differentiated instruction.
• Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and engage them in learning.
• Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Standard First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification within two months of hire, may be required.
