General description:

Behavior management techniques preferred Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents and teachers. Ability to follow general oral and written instructions. Ability to work independently and take initiative in task performance. Ability to pass a Criminal Background/fingerprint check ($70 fee) Completion of annual district trainings

Tillamook School District - Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Requirements Tillamook School District requires that all paraprofessionals be "Highly Qualified". There are three ways you can meet these requirements. Possess an Associate's (or higher) degree, or Complete two years of study at an institute of higher education with a minimum of 72 quarter college credits or 48 semester college credits, or Pass a local assessment test demonstrating basic knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics skills.
