This position will teach Media Arts and Shamrock News teaching students how to film, edit and produce the Shamrock News weekly episodes. English Language Arts endorsement required. This position is anticipated to begin August 31, 2026 and end June 22, 2027.

The employee is primarily responsible for effective teaching and learning of the assigned subject(s) following district approved curriculum, instruction and assessment practices. Primary responsibility shall include student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student's readiness to learn including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare. Employee may teach in a variety of elementary and/or secondary educational, individual or team teaching settings.
Must hold or be able to obtain Oregon Educator licensure with a Subject Matter Endorsement specific to the content area taught in this position.

Salary range for the 25-26 school year is $58,788- $111,463 (193-Day Contract). Initial placement based on education, experience. This salary range reflects 1.0 FTE. Actual salary is prorated based on FTE and start date. Stipends are pro-rated based on 1.0 FTE and start/end dates of position/assignment.
Eligible employees receive a stipend of $2,500 if certified by NBPTS (National Board for Professional Teaching Standards) and a stipend of $3,000 if you hold a PhD or EdD.
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion.
Minimum qualifications include successful completion of a teacher certification program at an accredited college or university, experience in working with culturally diverse families and communities, evidence of continuous professional learning, commitment to professional growth opportunities, and knowledge of child and adolescent development.
