Job DescriptionGlide Elementary School is seeking a dynamic Instructional Assistant to support students in the Learning Resource Center classroom. Ability to provide American Sign Language Support preferred.
Note about summer break:
Interviews will be conducted during the week of August 3, 2026.
This program provides specialized instruction in academic, social, and/or adaptive skills for students at the K‑6 grade levels. The successful candidate will be joining a team of professional Special Education staff, which includes the teachers, instructional assistants, skills trainer, and behavior specialist.
Glide School District operates on a four-day school week, Monday through Thursday.

Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree or equivalent is preferred. Prior successful experience working in a school setting or with children strongly preferred. - Interpersonal

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of situations.
