2nd Grade School Teacher

Licensed Teacher Grade School

The Licensed Grade School Teacher, under the general supervision of the Building Principal, is responsible for planning, delivering, assessing, and evaluating instruction aligned to district goals and Oregon Academic Standards. A central responsibility of this role is the explicit teaching, assessment, and continuous improvement of literacy skills—reading, writing, speaking, listening, and academic language—across content areas to support student learning, engagement, and achievement.

Spanish speaking preferred; ESOL and reading endorsement preferred.

Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Teaching License issued by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC), with appropriate endorsements
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices
• Ability to meet the academic, social, emotional, and literacy needs of diverse learners
