Position Summary
Bus Monitors assist the driver with loading and unloading students and with student management on the school bus.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described within this job description.
- Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English.
- Ability to obtain a type 10/20 license.
- Experience as an instructional assistant in a K‑12 environment.
- Experience as a bus aide with SPED students.
- Bilingual Spanish.

Schedule:
$19.25–$24.91 - Work days: 180 (10 months)
- Personal days, Sick days
- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
- Life insurance, AD&D, long‑term disability (optional insurances available)
- JCSD 509‑J pays employee's share (6%) of the Public Employees Retirement System Contribution
