Jefferson County School District is seeking Licensed Substitute Teachers who want to inspire a love of learning by substituting as needed during the school year.

Location: Various Schools within Jefferson County School District 509J
Wages: $211.92/day (2025/26 TBD)

Position Summary: A substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role supports elementary and middle schools across the district on a daily basis to fill teacher vacancies.
Education, Experience and Certification/Licensure (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid TSPC endorsement, or ability to obtain
- Meet standards of moral character as required of all Oregon licensed educators (OAR )
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Experience with all grade levels preferred
- Bilingual Spanish
